The kick-off meeting of NOMAD was hosted by University of Bremen in Bremen, Germany. BIBA made a presentation on their work related to the NOMAD conceptual design and the detailed plan for the first project semester was discussed.
Location: Athens, 22-24 April 2002.
The 2nd plenary meeting, together with a Vision Workoshop, were organized in Athens, on 22-24 April 2002. In this meeting, User and Trial Requirements were discussed thoroughly, whille WP2 (System Conception) kicked-off. During the second day of the meeting, a Vision Workshop was organized. The workshop's goal was to allow each NOMAD partner to clarify his particular interests and motivation to the consortium, partners' views on system deployment to be discussed and to develop a common vision on the sample system/ services to be implemented. The Metaplan method was used as a basis in order to organize and steer the creativity tapped via brainstorming into concise and meaningful statements of value to NOMAD.

The 3rd Plenary meeting of NOMAD was hosted by Helsinki University of Technology in Helsinki, Finland. Task 1.2 (Market Business Model Survey) was discussed in detail, WP2 status was presented and future work was identified.
